In 1987, ERI was founded as Environmental
Research Institute, Inc. to assist school districts
comply with the new Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response
Act (AHERA) regulations.
In 1992, Larry
G. Snodgrass, P.E., began expanding the firm's capabilities
in the areas of asbestos, bioaerosols, indoor air
quality, lead, industrial hygiene, and Phase I Environmental
Site Assessments (ESA's). The laboratory's capabilities
were also expanded to include analysis for most airborne
comtaminants. The firm's name was later changed to
as we know it today, to accurately reflect the nature
of our business. |
